We’ll be celebrating when our two new cross stitch kits launch on 1st March at the Spring Knitting and Stitching show. They’re part of our ‘States of Mind’ collection, inspired by the research we keep finding that says stitching is a great way to practice mindfulness and helps those who suffer with anxiety and depression.
The first kit is Happy – created with lots of bold, bright colours, so you can literally stitch yourself Happy. This stitches up at about 13cm x 13cm – so it’s ideal to carry with you and stitch on the train, in a waiting room or when out for coffee. It’s simple enough that a beginner could have a go at it – lots of big blocks of colour that are blended (great for hiding mistakes – spot them in our sample, if you can!) The colour wheel design, together with the quirky font, makes for a very jolly pairing.
The second kit we’ll be launching is Grow – this one’s a bit more challenging – it’ll help your stitching ability to grow. It pairs a photographic style with the word grow. The greenery in the background has beautiful depth to it and the white border and block provides a rest from the challenging part, for when you just want to zone out a little bit. It too, is 13cm x 13cm, so again, ideal to carry around.
The kits will appear on the website on 1st March and will be £20 each.
